Welcome to Kick Like A Girl Safety Tips! My name is Alexia Andrachik and I am dedicated to empowering young women to feel safe in every day scary situations! My background: I am a fifth degree black belt, three time national champion and Master Instructor of taekwondo (a martial art similar to karate.) In addition to empowering young women through blog posts, and tutorial videos (which you can find here! https://www.tiktok.com/@kicklikeagirlsafetytips ) I also work in person as a taekwondo coach to young female athletes.

At first I felt left behind by my teammates, watching them compete as I sat behind them cheering. But as I came to the ...
When I went to college my older sister wrote me a long list of what to do and what to definitely not do. I am so thankful to have had a big sister who has always looked out for me, but for those of you who are on or headed to campus, and may not have a big sister (or just want some sisterly safety tips,) this one is for you.
