Today there are SO many options for gadgets and weapons you can buy for self defense. But let's be real ladies- how many of us have the classic pink pepper spray on our keychains, but have never practiced using it?  The reality is when you go into crisis mode, you may not be able to effectively use your pepper spray on an attacker. Although I'm not the biggest fan of pepper spray, if it makes you feel safe, by all means carry it with you! But you should practice using it in a safe space at least once so you are familiar with how it works.  However, I will say my favorite self defense gadget on the market right now is the Stay Safe Kitty Keychains. (No this is NOT an ad.) Not only are these cute, but they also serve as an easy way of protecting yourself. Not only are you able to quickly slide your fingers into the cat ears to use on your attacker, there is also no button needing to be pressed or turned, you just have to throw a punch.
