  Welcome to Kick Like A Girl Safety Tips! My name is Alexia Andrachik and I am dedicated to empowering young women to feel safe in every day scary situations!  My background: I am a fifth degree black belt, three time national champion and Master Instructor of taekwondo (a martial art similar to karate.) As the daughter of martial art school owners I learned many things like, not to walk to my car alone at night, how to throw a punch and to always be aware of my surroundings. As I grew up, I realized that not every young woman has been educated on how to effectively keep themselves safe. That's why I started Kick Like A Girl Safety Tips.  In addition to empowering young women through blog posts, and tutorial videos (which you can find here!    https://www.tiktok.com/@kicklikeagirlsafetytips ) I also work in person as a taekwondo coach to young female athletes.
